I often meet some very important people in entertainment business when I'm bartending. Make no mistake about it how you dress has everything to do with the image you project. They're clothing, at least for their button down shirts, are ALL fitted and they even have an "extra-slim" fit size if you're into that and think you look better in it. ![]() However, Express offers, in my opinion, some of the best fitted cotton shirts you can buy. Most of my clothes were bought at Express (which many can make the argument is over priced, I know). I've worked in heart of NYC as a bartender at some very high profile fine dining venues (two of them at Michelin star rated restaurants and one of them, I was the executive bartender for a celebrity chef), I wouldn't be caught dead wearing something that wasn't fitted or trimmed. I don't mean to sound snobby or arrogant even though I know it sounds like it, so I'm just going to say it. 20% or $1/drink in North America is quite common (often because of our lower priced drinks and staff that is paid a lower amount) and a good guideline to follow overall.Ħ) I just started as a barback but know nothing where do I start?
